Dear President,

            Every new Rotaract year brings not only new challenges but also new hopes and new opportunities of leadership and serving. It is my great pleasure to welcome you all in this beginning of our own special district. Yes, the new district 3292, isn’t it a great matter of happiness? It is because of our unity and great effort. The quality of work and the quality of worker are inseparable. Half hearted effort doesn’t produce half result, it produces no results. We, the Rotaractors, have put our full effort in Rotaract movement and that’s why we have our own new district 3292.

One flower makes no garland. We need many flowers to make a garland. The Rotaract clubs are like flowers woven in the same fabric. Together, we make a beautiful bouquet and we have our own hues and fragrance. Together, we emit a unique and decent smell. It’s because of our unity that we achieve success in every club activity.
I have revealed DRR Theme “Build Yourself” for Rotaract year 2008-2009 of R.I. District 3292. We should all have positive attitudes to build ourselves by which we can build the society, nation and the whole universe. A lamp can never light another unless it continues to build its own flame. Similarly, a Rotaractor can never build his/her society and nation unless he/she builds himself/herself.
“I’ve missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot…and missed. I’ve failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeeded!” This is what the legendary basket-ball player Michael Jordan had to say when he was asked what the secret of his success was. I believe that Rome wasn’t built in a day; we have many things to learn, to grow and to progress because the secret of success is constancy in purpose. Inspiration is thought, Motivation is action. Motivation is like fire unless you keep adding fuel to it, it dies.
“Fellowship Through Service” is our main aim through which we spread our real name. We accomplish every success with responsibility, challenge, self discipline and motivation. Every small accomplishment requires hard work. Without hard work there is no success. Nature gives birds their food but doesn’t put it in their nest. They have to work hard for it. Nothing comes easily. So, we are going to work to the fullest extent to make our Rotaract movement in Nepal a successful one.
